Handmade ceramics are tougher than they look, but a little love keeps them looking loud for years.
Washing
Hand wash recommended. Many pieces are dishwasher-safe (check the product page), but hand washing protects reactive glazes and keeps colors vivid. Skip abrasive scrubbers on glazed surfaces.
Microwave & oven
Pieces marked microwave-safe are good to go. Avoid sudden temperature changes: don't take a mug from the freezer straight to the microwave. Pieces are not oven- or stovetop-safe unless noted.
First use
Give new pieces a quick rinse before first use. Unglazed bottoms may be left slightly rough; that's intentional, but you can buff with fine sandpaper if it catches on a table.
Plants & water
Planters with drainage holes come with a saucer. For vases, empty and rinse between uses to prevent mineral buildup.
If it chips
Handmade pottery can chip if dropped. A chipped food vessel is best retired to decorative or plant duty. Questions? Reach out.
